The most successful way to create empathy is through action. We see the evidence of this already in play in McCook.
Mike Nesbit's The Blues are encountered, not only viewed. The basic experience of this work hasthe essence of verbs rather than nouns. It is entered, moved through, full of sound (whether loud or silent) and has a spiritual-like spatial sensation that is felt.
To communicate this installation effectively, this story needs film.
We're honored to continue our collaboration with Mike Nesbit and a community of engaged citizens for this film.
